The "Berlin" video from the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is as eerie as the song; it's shot in black and white with a handheld video camera and features the band playing onstage at a small club. The band is backlit to create an even more haunting feel. Ironically, while the Berlin video is anything but polished, the song itself is a great example of slick guitar work and shining rock swagger. Also, right now the band evokes a borrowed Oasis or T-Rex-lite rock style, but they are good enough not to imitate other bands. More great videos are expected as this San Francisco based band matures and finds its own unique sound.
