The
Beastie Boys show their New York City roots in their
"Ch-Check It" video. The video is fairly simple with the Beasties walking the streets of New York, riding on the subway, walking over the Brooklyn Bridge, and roaming sidewalks. The Beasties are wearing matching outfits as usual with large old-school headphones. The colors change from black and white to faded colors. By the end of the video the Beasties find themselves on the Roosevelt Island Trolley. This is a very low budget video that the Beasties are well known for. The song is an up tempo Beasties party tune with a hard hip-hop beat from legendary producer Just Blaze.
