The “President “ video has Wyclef bicycling around Manhattan singing his Caribbean-tinged political tune about how he would change by being honest if he were elected president. There are some neat Wyclef for President signs posted wherever Wyclef rides, intercut with images of people on the streets who seem to be looking for a better life. The President video is a departure for Wyclef who usually sticks to the more traditional non-political hip hop videos, but it is quite a refreshing change. You feel that Wyclef has a real affinity with his reggae brothers and that he is finally saying something very important. The people he runs into on the streets seem to appreciate him as well.
