A bloodied prisoner is dragged across a prison floor to a room where he is interrogated with all sorts of torturous instruments and where his face is submerged underwater. One can't help but see the parallels to Guantanamo. The Smithereens (Stop Crying) video is perfect for the song, which is harsh political indictment and not for easy listening fans. EL-P is a cool dude--his raps are full of great metaphors and his beats purely grimy sounds.
